It is the sequel to Battlefield 3 and was released on the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and PC on October 29, 2013. It is the first game in the franchise also released on eighth generation consoles, being released for the Playstation 4 on November 12, 2013 and the Xbox One on November 19 of the same year.
