Seven killed in Texas during Dallas Cowboys watching party - Daily Mail

The estranged wife of a man from Texas who killed eight people at a football viewing party asked him 'did you really have to do this?' before she was fatally shot. Spencer Hight ended up dead too after being shot by police who rushed to the scene earlier this month. Meredith Hight, 27, was in the process of divorcing Spencer, 32, and had filed for divorce in July after six years of marriage. The party she was hosting in Plano earlier this month was the first gathering she was hosting on her own. Police say Spencer (left), 32, burst into the home and opened fire. Seven people were pronounced dead at the scene, inset, one died a short time later in hospital. Hight was shot dead by a cop shortly after the attack.
