Classic TV Theme: Madame's Place

Classic TV Theme: Madame's Place

Puppeteer Wayland Flowers parlayed his 'Madame' puppet into a five-day-a-week series. Madame hosted a tv talk show and it was portrayed in the series as well as her adventures at home with a zany cast of characters (including an early role for Corey Feldman). The show-within-a-show attracted names like Debbie Reynolds and William Shatner. For some reason 'Madame's Place' just from the opening credits always felt a little creepy to me. But the theme song is a lively number, composed by Michael K Miller and Monica Riordan, performed by Denise De Caro.
