Glasshouse Mountains 4x4 - Track Day #1

G'day G'day, First day out on the tracks with most of the crew. Good training ground leading up to our Cape York adventure in August. Was a great opportunity to put our vehicles and ourselves thru some pretty knarly tracks. Glasshouse Mountains really does have a lot to offer 4x4 enthusiasts from mild to wild. We learnt a hell of a lot. Especially about how our vehicles behave on such terrain and what they are capable of. Pretty lucky to have such a spot not so far from home and easily accessible. We plan on doing another two days out there as part of the lead up to our Cape Trip. This was day one. Next time we'll hopefully get some winch experience in, as I personally don't have any and have just fitted a winch to the Hilux. But anyway. The footage does zero justice to how steep those hills are and the angles the cars got into. always slipping and sliding and at one point nearly rolled the Hilux onto it's side.
