Did anyone notice it isn’t called The Many Saints of Newark anymore? Well, not exactly, now it has the added subtitle “A Sopranos Story”. Pretty cheesy, quite cliché, but I don’t mind it actually – it downplays the epicness of the movie, it makes it out to be just another story set in The Sopranos universe, and that’s what we want. We don’t want no big huge big budget thing – this ain’t no superhero movie. And, dare I say it, could it suggest more Sopranos movies? After all, it says A Sopranos movie, not THE Sopranos movie. Anyway, let’s discuss this trailer. If you’re new here, consider checking out the channel and subscribing for more Sopranos and mob movie content. This video won’t be an in depth analysis or anything, picking apart every scene. Maybe I’ll do that in another video, but overall thoughts? It looks interesting, doesn’t it? Doesn’t look bad. You can’t get a measure of how good the movie will be based off a trailer, but over the past few months I’ve kept my expectations measured and reasonable. Truth be told, I never really thought The Sopranos needed a prequel movie, but there’s a lot of material to tap into.
