Based on current vaccinated population projections SA won't meet Covid-19 herd immunity

Based on current vaccinated population levels and projections it seems unlikely that the target set by the National Department of Health to vaccinate 70-percent of the adult population by December 2021 will not be met. Mass vaccination communication has taken a back sit in recent weeks partly because of the local government elections.
