Woodturning - Oak Bowl - Beauty or Beast?

7 inch Oak Bowl that probably should have just gone straight to the fire wood pile! I am pleased that I stuck with this one, but it was nearly thrown to the other side of my shop multiple times. Half of the bowl is a beautiful light brown Oak, while the other is a nasty dusty cracked dark brown. This is also the first time that I have finished a bowl with Varnish. Is it a beauty or a beast?
