Texas Power Outages Were Not Caused by Failing Wind Turbines

Texas is still dealing with the aftermath of the winter storm that caused massive power outages, froze water lines, and claimed the lives of some people. Some people, including Texas Governor Greg Abbott, have been spreading the misinformation that the blackout can be entirely blamed on frozen wind turbines, but that entirely ignores the fact that only a very small fraction of Texas's energy even comes from renewable sources. Today we have chosen an article that popped up in one of my feeds on social media, and we are addressing their claims, and talking about why the power outage was not caused by green energy failures.
