According to radio reports, a deputy attempted to execute a routine traffic stop on a vehicle in Antelope when the vehicle took off and a pursuit ensued. The pursuit was high-speed with speeds averaging 90 to 100 MPH on surface streets throughout Antelope, Citrus Heights and North Highlands. During the course of the pursuit, it was realized that the driver had a felony warrant. The pursuit was eventually terminated at Antelope Rd and Auburn Blvd. We have no further details.
