FINAL FANTASY VI (ROSE Mod - #7) - Sloth Plays

With Cyan recruited, we bring Sabin to a remote cabin where his master Duncan has miraculously survived the apocalypse, and Sabin is taught one of his final techniques early. We head back to the Cave on the Veldt and rescue Shadow from a pair of nasty Behemoths (then battle him at the Colosseum to finally convince him to join permanently). We find Relm in the depths of Owzer's mansion in Jidoor, where a painting she was forced to draw has been possessed by a demon, and rescue her as well. With Relm in tow we stop by the Kefka cult, where Strago has been brainwashed, and snap him out of it. We bring Cyan back to Doma Castle, where his dreams are assaulted by three mischievous spirits and their master, trapping him in a guilt-ridden nightmare about his family's death. After an arduous trek through the soulscape, we dispel the demons and finally wake him up. (Here we also view some of Shadow's dream sequences, about his former life as Relm's father, Clyde). Over at the Opera House, a t-rex is stomping around (the EARTH DRAGON), so we put it out of its misery and move on. In Thamasa, one of Strago's old friends is wounded in a battle against the Hidon, a monster he had once tried and failed to defeat. We take him and Relm to Ebot Rock and destroy Hidon for good, fulfilling his life's goal. With ALL that out of the way, at long last we seek out our final secret companion, the mysterious mime, Gogo (of FFV fame), sitting within the Zone Eater's belly. Once we have him, it's time to take on Phoenix Cave to finish Locke's quest and get the Phoenix Esper. Then we fly Locke to Narshe to unlock the doors, so we can grab the Cursed Shield and the Ragnarok (I chose the Sword, to trade it at the colosseum for the Illumina, the best sword in the game).
