Variation set 4/4 Once a week for the next four weeks I will take a traditional nursery rhyme and make a set of two variations on it in various, yet classical styles. This week I present The wheels on the Bus, also known as Hjulene på bussen in Norwegian The first variation is a counterpoint variation exploring some alternative harmonic possibilities in the theme. The second is a triplet and arpeggio variation, something you would bump into if playing variations by Sor or Giuliani etc.
