Today on our 2013 GMC Yukon, we'll be test fitting the Curt multi-ball adjustable ball mount for 2" hitches, part number D900. Before we begin our test fit, we will first need to determine the hitch height of our vehicle. This is the measurement from the ground to the inside top of the receiver tube. Our vehicle's hitch height is 24". Keep in mind that this measurement may vary due to tire size, hitch style, or after-market accessories. We'll now begin our test fit by sliding the shank of the ball mount into the opening of the hitch, and securing it with the pin and clip. We can then fold the pin here to be able to flip the ball mount and access the three different size balls. Now with the ball mount platform in its lowest position, we can measure from the ground to the top of the ball platform, and we'll get a measurement of about 19". We can then pull the pins to raise the ball mount platform to the top while it's in the drop position. We can then measure and get a measurement of about 22-3/4". We'll now flip the ball mount over into the rise position, and with the ball mount in the rise position, and the ball mount platform at it's lowest point, we'll get a measurement of about 23-3/4". We can then raise the ball mount platform while the ball mount is in the rise position, and we'll measure and get a measurement of about 27-3/4". Now if your vehicle's hitch height matches our vehicle's hitch height, and your trailer's ride height falls on or in between these two sets of measurements, this would be an appropriate ball mount for you. And that will complete today's test fit for the Curt multi-ball adjustable ball mount for 2" hitches, part number D900, on our 2013 GMC Yukon.
