Spectators experienced a shock during qualifying for the 2021 running of the Dave Bradway Memorial when a crew member decided to cross the track and run for the pits. Luckily driver Caleb Henry spotted the brainchild runner just in the nick of time to avoid him by mere feet. The phenomenal speed of a sprintcar is illustrated by the closing rate of this near miss: Caleb is on the backstretch as the runner decides to go for it and is on top of him before the guy is even halfway across the track.
