Russia downed 31 Kyiv-launched drones overnight over the regions of Belgorod, Bryansk and Kursk bordering Ukraine, the defence ministry has said this morning. In a statement on Telegram, it wrote: "On the night of 4 October, attempts by the Kyiv regime to carry out terrorist attacks on targets on the territory of the Russian Federation were stopped. "Air defence systems on duty over the territory of the Belgorod, Bryansk and Kursk regions intercepted and destroyed 31 Ukrainian aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles." There was no information about potential casualties or damage.
