If your goal is to completely hide your story from all followers, it might seem pointless to upload it — but there are still cases where you may want to post a story for testing features or saving it to highlights without others seeing it. The best way to do this is by hiding your story from everyone except yourself. To get started, open the Instagram app and go to your profile by tapping the profile icon in the bottom right corner. Tap the three horizontal lines in the top right to open the menu, then select “Settings and privacy.” Under the “Who can see your content” section, tap “Story and reels.” Now tap “Hide story from.” You’ll see a list of your followers — select all of them so that your story will be hidden from everyone.
