This 1996 sitcom is similar to 'Bewitched': the lead witch uses her powers for good, and keeps her special status a secret from everyone outside her family, which gets her into various comedic situations. But as a witch in training, Sabrina had tasks to achieve; some of these would stretch through an entire season (earn her license, discover her family secret, etc). Eventually she would find herself in college and about to be married. The disappearance of several cast members along the way (some explained, some not) was not Sabrina exercising her witch powers, but typical sitcom production decisions. in its fourth season 'Sabrina' was the highest-rated show on ABC's TGIF block, but they couldn't come to terms with producers' demands so the series moved to The WB for three more years. Over seven seasons the show had three different themes. 00:00 Opening titles, season one. Theme by Danny Lux; the joke at the end would vary from episode to episode. 00:22 Opening titles, season four. A new theme, also by Danny Lux, accompanied the characters in bubbles. 00:51 Opening titles, season seven. Theme #3, introduced in season five when Sabrina enrolled in college, is a vocal by Lux and Paul Taylor 01:25 End credits, season seven. The first four seasons generally did not use end credits music.
