On Day 1 of my trip to Mexico City, we had our first encounter during a tour with one of the best Mexican street food Mexico city has to offer, the tacos de Chicharrón. The tacos de Chicharrón is a taco made with thick and juicy soft pork skin. I added chicken because I am not a fan of pork skin. But it turned out to be surprisingly delicious. And for dessert, churros! This taco was enjoyed while we were on a Coyoacán tour and also hit a few more spots like a silversmith shop, the Tecpan palace where the last Aztec Emperor Cuauhtémoc was held captive, and the Jardín Santiago in Tlatelolco.
