Assigning Static DNS Servers in Ubuntu Linux
This is a walkthrough of how to assign static DNS servers to a network connection that acquires its IP address via DHCP. This applies specifically to Ubuntu, but should work with any computer running a variant of Gnome and using the gnome-network-manager .
