Hello and welcome to New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe! New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe is the latest in the New Super Mario Bros Subseries. New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe was originally a port of the Wii U game "New Super Mario Bros. U" to the Nintendo Switch. The game is virtually the same aside from visual changes, the biggest thing that was added to the Switch version was a new playable character "Toadette", which has the special ability to use the Super Crown, which can transform her into a new character, first introduced from this game, Peachette. In this game you can either play as Mario, Luigi, Yellow Toad, Blue Toad (Press Left Trigger over Yellow Toad in the character select menu), and Toadette, to save Princess Peach from the Evil King Bowser. Adventure through 8 Worlds, Acorn Plains, Layer Cake Desert, Sparkling Waters, Frosted Glaciers, Soda Jungle, Rock Candy Mines, Meringue Clouds, and Peach's Castle to defeat Bowser.
