Final Fantasy IV (PSP) - Part 10 - The Tower of Babil

RetroPlay: Video Game Walkthroughs Final Fantasy IV: The Complete Collection by: OmegaSion Cecil and crew fail to stop Golbez from taking the 3rd Dark Crystal, however King Giott suggests the party sneak into the Tower of Babil and reclaim the crystals while Golbez is busy trying to get the final one. Note: I had an issue near the end of the video (forgot to check my batteries charge before I started), which is why there's a small skip there. Ambushes, back-attacks, and random battles, oh my! If there's one thing that gets to me about FFIV it's the RNG of the random battles. I swear the game hates me some times, and this being one of them. The Tower of Babil can be rough, but throwing in ambushes and back attacks every other fight is borderline ridiculous, I still manage though. The fight with the Doctor can be a pain in the first half of the fight, as his "pet" can pack a punch. You don't want to take the Doctor out before it however as if he doesn't use oil on it it will explode and damage the whole party. You can actually take both out at the same time and save time over fighting the combination phase. The second part of the fight can be a pain as the Doc will constantly use sleep on you when you hit him, and he will keep poison on the party through the whole fight. Keep smacking him and he'll go down before long, though. In the next segment we'll see what Cid was talking about in Baron.
