Covid-19: India's tally reaches 2,16,919 with record spike of 9,304 cases

As per data released by the Health Ministry, 9,304 people contracted the illness and 260 people died in the past 24 hours. The total number of cases in the country now stands at 216,919, including 106,737 active cases, 104,107 cured/discharged/migrated and 6,075 deaths. Maharashtra continues to record the highest number of cases (74,860), followed by Tamil Nadu (25,872), Delhi (23,645), Gujarat (18,100), Rajasthan (9,652), Uttar Pradesh (8,729) and Madhya Pradesh (8,588). ► Subscribe to The Economic Times for latest video updates.
