How to Setup Welcome Message with Sapphire Bot - Discord Welcome Messages

In this tutorial I show you how to setup a welcome message with Sapphire Bot for your Discord server. Using Sapphire bot you can make welcome messages that will be sent whenever a new member joins your server. You can customise the welcome message as you like, including links to roles and channels in your server. This allows you to use the welcome message to help new members understand your server and be guided to important channels in your server. Additionally, you can setup welcome messages to be seen by Staff and Moderators so they can see when new people join your Discord server. With Sapphire bot you have a lot of room for customization. This allows you to make aesthetic welcome messages for your Discord server. One of the options available with Sapphire is the ability to add an image to your welcome message. This allows you to add a Discord channel banner or header that will be sent along with your welcome message. By adding a welcome image the message can look more professional. However, you can use text instead of the image if you don't have one. Another useful feature is the ability to add an embed to your welcome message. Often, Discord embeds are used as they have a professional look and have a side bar that you can change the color of. This sidebar can be changed to any color, and looks best when using a color that goes with the theme of your Discord server. When you create a welcome message in Discord with Sapphire bot you can also include emojis. While the default emojis are available, you can also use emojis in your Discord server. In this tutorial I show you how to add custom server emojis to your welcome message. Additionally, Sapphire bot also has variables that you can include in your message. These variables use information from your server to customize the message. For example, the username variable will include the username of the person that the message is welcoming. I recommend using the username variable as it personalizes the welcome message for the person joining. You can also use the guildname variable to include the name of your server in the message. Although you can input your server name manually, if you ever change it then you will need to update your Discord welcome message. By using the variable instead, the welcome message will automatically use your new name. ►► Store: https://slurptech.etsy.com ► Sapphire Bot: https://sapph.xyz/ ► Background Music Stream Beats: https://www.streambeats.com Disclaimer: The advice provided in our tutorials and guides are based on our personal knowledge and experience.
