BLUE LOCK | The LEGENDARY Player Who Inspired Lavinho

BLUE LOCK Blue Lock has given us many iconic characters like the Neo Egoist League’s Master Strikers. Each of these Master Strikers possess their own unique skills and personalities. That being said, have you ever wondered who inspired these incredible characters? Today, we’ll be discussing which real-life professional footballers inspired the NEL’s Master Strikers. The first Master Striker we will be talking about is FC BARCHA’s Lavinho! We believe Lavinho is primarily based on the real-life Brazilian phenom, Neymar da Silva Santos Júnior. Neymar is a Brazilian forward and he is best known for his incredible dribbling, playmaking, and finishing skills. He was an early sensation with Brazilian team, Santos and he quickly garnished a lot of attention from big european clubs while he was still a teenager. After playing with Santos, Neymar transferred to Spanish giants, FC Barcelona, the team that FC BARCHA is based off. At Barcelona, he played a key role in the attacking trio MSN alongside Suarez and Messi. During this time, he further developed his unique playing style and played a crucial role in Barcelona’s legendary treble campaign: winning La Liga, Copa del Rey and the Champions League. Just like Neymar, Lavinho also plays for FC Barcelona, and he is also known for his creativity, flair, and attacking prowess. Both players use ginga, or the Brazilian sway along with their dribbling ability. This dancing-like approach allows them to develop unpredictable movements and create goal scoring chances for themselves. Since we are speaking about ginga, it's important to note that both players are Brazilian and they both possess similar personalities. Both can be viewed as relaxed and confident while possessing a massive ego to become the world’s best. You can also see that Lavinho’s character build is similar to Neymar’s appearance during his Barcelona tenure. Lavinho has a similar mohawk and bleached hairstyle, along with many tattoos just like Neymar. Between their appearances, personality types, and playing abilities, you can see why we think Lavinho is based on Neymar. We hope you enjoy the video!
