Moment Blue Origin's All-Female Crew Return to Earth

Pop star Katy Perry and five other women safely returned to Earth on Monday, April 14, after reaching space aboard Jeff Bezos’s Blue Origin rocket. Footage released by Blue Origin shows shows the capsule landing in west Texas. Crew members included Perry, broadcaster Gayle King, journalist Lauren Sanchez, rocket scientist Aisha Bowe, civil rights activist Amanda Nguyen, and film producer Kerianne Flynn. The New Shepard (NS-31) flight lasted 11 minutes and took the crew over 100 km (62 miles) above the Earth’s surface.
