Eduardo Felipe Campelo, 30, an influencer from Paraná state investigated for allegedly running multi-million dollar scams totaling over R$8.5 million, gives his version of events in an exclusive interview with Domingo Espetacular, conducted in Dubai. Identified as one of the main promoters of the so-called "Little Tiger Game," he was wanted by Interpol and arrested last month in the United Arab Emirates. Now free, Eduardo speaks for the first time about the accusations, his time in prison, and the behind-the-scenes details of the case that gained international attention. Dubai, a place of breathtaking landscapes, modern and bold architecture, and luxury everywhere. With just over 3 million inhabitants, the city has become a popular destination not only for tourists but also for people who have used it as a kind of safe haven. Eduardo worked as a motorcycle courier in the city of Colombo, Paraná, where he lived. But the luxurious lifestyle he began to flaunt on social media attracted attention. According to the police, he moved at least R$8.5 million through online gambling alone. He was arrested in Brazil in 2023, suspected of illegal gambling schemes. He spent nine days in prison but was released. According to him, after six months, he came to Dubai with his wife for a vacation, but after getting to know the destination, he decided to extend his stay. The influencer was also arrested in Dubai for 61 days. Today he lives in freedom, but could be extradited to Brazil if there is a legal agreement with the United Arab Emirates. Eduardo lives in a condominium in an upscale neighborhood in Dubai, where he received our team. In Brazil, the influencer was indicted by the Public Prosecutor's Office of Paraná. He faces criminal charges, mainly for aggravated fraud and criminal association, as well as alleged offenses against the popular economy for promoting gambling and illegal raffles and lotteries, promising cash prizes and vehicles. The police believe that Eduardo moved at least R$8.5 million in cash, in addition to more than R$3 million in luxury cars, in just one type of online betting. The digital influencer denies that the amount is so high, but does not reveal how much he earned from promoting the gambling games. He also denies all accusations: “I want them to acknowledge that I do advertising that is now within the law, and I want my life back, my life as a Brazilian citizen.” Even though he lives a normal and free life, Eduardo says he wants to return to Brazil: “Even though I came here, I made this mistake out of fear. I never hid here in Dubai. I can be here every day, I show where I am. I always left my address registered everywhere. I want to go back to Brazil and work with what I've been doing for years. I already have an audience that has been gambling with me for years, and I want to continue doing that.” ➡️ Follow more news on our official website: https://recordtv.r7.com/domingo-espet...
