Response to racism within the Democratic party - Virginia Governor Ralph Northam

February 1, 2019- Tiffany Cross and Nina Turner speak about the history of racism within the Democratic party in response to Virginia Governor Ralph Northam (Democrat) on February 1, 2019 acknowledged appearing in a racist and offensive photograph in his 1984 medical school yearbook that shows man in blackface and another in a Ku Klux Klan robe. The photo is in the yearbook from Eastern Virginia Medical School, located in Norfolk, was on a page with other photos of Northam. Northam graduated from the medical school in 1984 after earning an undergraduate degree from VMI. He became a pediatric neurologist.
