Cleveland weather forecast for Tuesday, October 15, 2024. Cold air over the warm lake = lake effect rain and that's what we have in the forecast -- not just today, but tonight and tomorrow as well. This seasonably cold airmass will linger through Thursday before another pattern shift takes place and we head back to a dry, long stretch of weather with warmer temps in the forecast. Take a look at the trough bringing the cool spell across the eastern US. We could use every drop of rain that Lake Erie is providing as it's certainly helping our current drought/dry conditions across northern Ohio. Depending on where bands persist, some locations could pick up over an inch of rain through late Wednesday. These chilly temps will stick around as well with a few cold mornings coming up. In terms of frost and freeze potential, our best chance for widespread frost is going to be tomorrow night and then again Thursday night into Friday morning as skies begin to clear out at night thanks to high pressure. Drier air and a multi-day stretch of sunshine and warmer temps is on the way in the extended forecast. High pressure will settle in and bring a quiet stretch all the way through the upcoming weekend. Temps will rebound as well! Our next shot at rain looks to arrive sometime during the middle portion of next week. Here is your 3-day Cleveland weather forecast. TODAY: Lake effect rain and chilly. Upper 40s. WEDNESDAY: Lingering lake effect rain. Still cool. Near 50. THURSDAY: Sunshine makes a return. Still cool. Upper 50s. READ MORE: https://www.wkyc.com/article/weather/...
