Final Fantasy II [GBA] Playthrough #29, Pandaemonium (1/2): Zombie Borghen, Tiamat

This is video #29 in my playthrough of Final Fantasy II on the Nintendo GameBoy Advance. This game is part of the Final Fantasy I & II: Dawn of Souls compilation. Final Fantasy I & II: Dawn of Souls [GBA] Playlist:    • Final Fantasy I & II: Dawn of Souls [GBA] ...   Previously, the party made it through the Jade Passage to the teleporter at the end on floor B6. Now, they will step through into Pandaemonium. They step through the teleporter (time 0:10). They have arrived on floor 1F of Pandaemonium! Cool music, especially when it is orchestrated. The arches in the south of the floor do not lead anywhere. There are Lamia Queens in here, and they can drop Ribbons. Making their way through the floor, the party reaches the stairway to floor 2F (time 5:10). In the north, a chest contains an Ether (time 5:58). In the northwest, the party takes a teleporter to floor 3F (time 7:33). South of the teleporter, a chest contains an Elixir (time 10:45). In the southeast, the party takes the next teleporter to floor 4F (time 14:07). This room features a row of four doors. The party first takes the western door (time 14:15). It leads them to the western part of floor 5F. To the north, a chest contains Genji Gloves (time 16:38). They are protected by a monster-in-a-box encounter with Zombie Borghen! This guy is just itching for a high-level Fire spell. In the northeastern chamber, the party finds a fake wall in the east (time 17:43). The chest in this room contains the Masamune (time 18:02). This is one of the strongest weapons in the game. All that is guarding it is the absurdly high encounter rate in the room. The party backtracks to the main part of floor 5F (time 20:59). On their way through the floor, they find a rare encounter with an Iron Giant (time 23:27). Its physicals are very powerful. They wend their way back to floor 4F (time 24:34). They take the second door from the west (time 26:48). It leads to the eastern part of floor 5F. To the north, they find a chest containing a Genji Helm (time 29:12). It also hosts a monster-in-a-box encounter with Tiamat. Tiamat uses a lot of high-level magic. The party backtracks to floor 4F (time 33:11). Next time, they will continue through Pandaemonium.
