“Reverie” by Le Maire French String Orchestra 1928

“Reverie” by Le Maire French String Orchestra 1928 I have no idea who the Le Maire French String Orchestra actually was. The only reference to them and this record was found in the book “Ethnic Music on Records: A Discography of Ethnic Recordings” By Richard K. Spottswood. From what I have found and what this discography shows they only made 2 records. One in 1920 and this one in 1928 both recorded in New York. The video contains images of both record labels and an excerpt from the book. The music is a calm, pretty, maybe a bit sappy, but well recorded and nice to listen to.
