The Labour left have won the most seats in elections to the party's ruling body, the National Executive Committee. The Momentum-backed Grassroots Voice slate saw 5 out of 6 candidates elected in a race for 9 seats within the CLP section of the committee, voted for by the party membership. However, with the Labour right picking up 3 seats, a majority on the NEC has been created for party leader Keir Starmer.
