Getting Started: Cloud, Enterprise, and Endpoint Agents

ThousandEyes Cloud, Enterprise, and Endpoint Agents provide powerful visibility to help you deliver the best possible digital experiences. Watch this tutorial for step-by-step instructions on setting them up. Cloud Agents: With Cloud Agents, you can test performance from various geographic locations and different transit and ISP networks to applications and services. The agents are managed by a dedicated ThousandEyes team. Enterprise Agents: Placed within your infrastructure, Enterprise Agents are owned and managed by you. They’re designed for internal or SaaS application monitoring and also provide visibility between sites. You can choose from a number of deployment options, including virtual appliances and Linux packages. If you wish, you can also install the agents on supported Cisco networking devices; on Docker containers; or as virtual machines deployed as IaaS, such as on AWS and Azure. Endpoint Agents: Installed on user devices, Endpoint Agents give you valuable data on device hardware utilization, local network performance, and the user experience of Internet applications. You can also use the agents to monitor collaboration applications, helping you proactively identify any problems that might affect a user’s experience during a meeting.
