BABUSH MONSERRATE RAPE CASE: BABUSH SEEKS BIRTH CERTIFICATE OF VICTIM GIRL_Prudent Media Goa

Panaji MLA Atanasio ‘Babush’ Monserrate’s Defense Counsel has pleaded the Court to supply copy of birth certificate of the victim girl. Defense Counsel has stated that victim’s mother submitted certificate before Apan Ghar. Counsel has claimed that according to the birth certificate victim not minor at time of offense. Meanwhile, Court has asked prosecution to file a reply over Babush’s application. Court has further adjourned hearing for September 19.
