HUNGER STRIKE AT AZAD MAIDAN ON OCT 5: GMPF _Prudent Media Goa

Goa Mining People’s Front has called off its scheduled Goa bandh on 3rd October. However, they have stated that around 3000 dependants will hold hunger strike at Azad maidan on 5th October. Front has stated that government is positive about restarting mining in Goa and Congress has also assured to support the cause in Parliament. Front has also warned to agitate at Jantar Mantar-Delhi if government fails to propose amendment bill in Parliament winter session.
