Line Of Duty series 6 finally resumes filming as BBC teases release date

💖 Please Visit:   / scathc   💖 Please Subscribe:    / @magicninja1994   ✍  Good news Line Of Duty fans – filming on the hotly-anticipated series 6 has finally resumed.  Production on the new season had originally got underway earlier this year, however it had to be halted four weeks in due to the coroanvirus pandemic.  As previously announced, the next installment of the hit police thriller will feature a brand new case for AC-12, this time investigating DCI Joanne Davidson (Kelly Macdonald), the senior investigating officer on an unsolved murder case.  Series regulars Martin Compston, Adrian Dunbar and Vicky McClure will all return, alongside newcomers Shalom Brune-Franklin, Perry Fitzpatrick, Andi Osho and Prasanna Puwanarajah.  Showrunner Jed Mercurio enthused: ‘We know Line of Duty fans are desperate for series 6 and we hope we can get it on air as soon as possible. Thanks so much for your patience in these difficult times.’  The cast is also buzzing that filming is finally underway, and Compston, aka DS Steve Arnott, gushed: ‘It’s been a long few ... 💖
