Automated Aluminium Casting Line | Raw Material Production | FFT

FFT's HDC (Horizontal Direct Chill) casting line enables automated aluminum raw material production with a capacity of 200,000 tons per year, divided in two lines. This means that one line can process up to 18 tons of aluminum per hour! The automated aluminum production line processes liquid aluminum, casts it, cuts it to length and delivers a finished, transportable bundle at the end. In the process, the surface and quality of each billet is checked with artificial intelligence for sorting out rejects automatically. Another highlight is the automatic and robot-guided grinding of the edges and wrapping of the stacked pallets.
