Storm brings flooding and crashes across Northern California

Rain across Northern California brought minor flooding, clogged drains and slow traffic Thursday as Sacramento city crews cleared debris to keep stormwater systems moving. A portion of I-5 closed briefly because of flooding, and drivers reported spinouts and close calls on slick roads. Metro Fire said the storm has not produced a significant number of incidents but confirmed responding to rain-related crashes.
