The episode begins with a new assignment from Don Salieri, which forces Tommy to protect the interests of the Salieri family while dispensing justice in the dark streets of the city. First, Tommy is summoned to Vincenzo's workshop, where he is handed a bomb. This bomb will be used to destroy the brothel run by Johnny - aka “The Sinner” - and controlled by the gang that betrayed the Salieri family. After taking care of the bomb, Tommy is forced to go to the Corleone Hotel with Sam Trapani to rescue a young woman named Michelle. Michelle is one of Johnny's favorite “products” as well as a character who tries to remain loyal to Johnny but is betrayed at the last moment. Searching for Michelle in the gloomy corridors of the Helsinki Hotel (Corleone Hotel), Tommy finds her room only to discover that the young woman is surrounded by Johnny's men and has nowhere to run. Tommy, who gets into a gunfight while rescuing Michelle, rushes to her side as the only survivor and rushes out, taking her with him. After dropping Michelle off at a safe spot, Tommy, with Sam's approval, must take Michelle to St. Michael's Church to counteract the fake funeral that Johnny has organized. When he arrives at the church, he comes face to face with the many enemies accompanying Johnny's funeral procession; he must quickly disperse the crowd to bring Johnny to justice before the service begins. Tommy engages in a succession of shootouts inside the church, shooting and incapacitating Johnny, who is waiting behind the bishop's pulpit. Seeing that the police are being dispatched to the area, Tommy jumps out of one of the church windows and immediately meets Paulie in the nearby cemetery to explain the situation. When Tommy returns to Salieri after killing Johnny, Don Salieri realizes once again how susceptible Tommy was to cold-bloodedness. Once hesitant to get involved in shady dealings, Tommy is now known as Salieri's trusted hitman.
