her smile, his entire joy. Love can be shared in different ways. In happiness, grief, laughter, dreams, loss, hardships, pain, and just in everyday life, Aesun and Gwansik’s love was always shared. They shared everything with each other that made life seem survivable and better. And was this love easy? No. They worked hard each and every day. Their life was not perfect, but they worked harder to make it better, and that’s the love they gathered together. A friend explained how “폭싹 속았수다” means “you’ve worked hard” in Jeju dialect and it all makes sense as they have given all their love, life and lived each day genuinely and it’s an appreciation for the love that they shared and it hit me really hard. It may have been the goodbyes Aesun and Gwansik shared with each other. Aesun who never was alone thanks to Gwansik and a Gwansik who had never left Aesun alone, a day did come when their lives had to be that way and “You’ve worked hard” surely fills in the feelings than any “I love you” can. I have wanted to edit and write about “When Life Gives You Tangerines” since the day it aired. I might be late, but my love for the beautiful writing and production of Aesun and Gwansik’s poem-like story stays the same. follow me on instagram and catch me yap there:   / kdramakimichi   SC - @asianpacks_ on ig #whenlifegivesyoutangerines #leejieun #IU #parkbogum #moonsori #parkhaejoon #kdrama #kdramaedit #koreandrama #whenlifegivesyoutangerinesedit
