This video lecture/demo shows students in BCIT's TTED 4044 class how to import the .dxf file used to cut their laser cut hardboard truss project into Fusion 360, extrude and copy the sections, create the structural supports, add pure tensile members (aka string) and then run structural buckling and linear static stress analysis in Autodesk Fusion 360. Thanks to Autodesk for making this simulation available for educational purposes... this was graduate level work when I was studying engineering back in the early days of the "internet".
