Lightning strike sparks massive house fire in Barrhaven

At 10:35 p.m. Thursday, the fire department had received multiple 911 calls reporting flames visible from the roof at 103 Ambiance Drive in Barrhaven. It was ultimately a two-alarm fire that left two units in the four-unit row uninhabitable but firefighters were able to contain the damage to the roof and attics of two units. Damage is pegged at $500,000 and two people are displaced. Video by Jeff Orange
