It continues the story on the continent of Enroth from where Heroes of Might and Magic II left off. Roland Ironfist, the new king of Enroth, is missing, and Catherine Ironfist is away to Erathia to attend her father's funeral, which leaves only a regent and a young prince to take care of the country. Meanwhile, the space-faring Kreegan are invading the land!
