Mumbai today saw a massive surge in fresh coronavirus cases with 3,671 infections. That's a 46% jump from yesterday amid concerns over a third wave and the Omicron variant. The health workers are now working round-the-clock in three shifts across the city's 24 wards to "test, trace and treat" patients.
