Finding Mr. Huang: A Missing Hiker in Taiwan's Mountains Nearly Forgotten

On August 26, 2025, Huang Jiong Hong (黃炯宏) disappeared while hiking the Dongmao Mountain Six Peaks traverse in Guguan, Taiwan. His family had given up searching. But a Facebook friend refused to accept that he should be left alone in the mountains forever.
