Hello Chattanooga. Here's a quick look at today's top stories. First of all, Riverbend officials now say that Cee Lo Green has not been officially banned from the festival, he just probably won't be invited back. Complaints poured in after Cee Lo's performance Saturday started nearly 45 minutes late, and reportedly included foul language, drinking on stage and mooning the audience. Executive director Chip Baker said the unnecessary nudity was the part that bothered him the most. We're now told that the contract signed by Green did not include a clean language clause, but that organizers did reach a quote gentleman's agreement that the singer would avoid swearing. ____ And if you're going to Riverbend tonight, you can expect to see the Times Free Press critic's choice: Voices of Lee. Also, Newsboys will be headlining on the Coca-Cola stage starting at 9:30. ____ And if you're looking to win some VIP Riverbend tickets and perhaps a free cruise on the River Gorge Explorer, here's your chance. Most of the weapons are stolen from legal gun owners. ___ Across the state line, a Whitfield County man has been charged with murder after police say he ran down and killed a man with his pickup truck. The city's General Pension Board isn't exactly sure how to handle it, and officials say the two officials will continue to draw dual checks at least until August. ______ In business news, a $14 million dollar retirement community is being planned for Shallowford Road - that will include an assisted living facility, 20 patio homes and a medical office building.
