The national capital recorded a minimum temperature of 3.2°C, the coldest so far this season, triggering weather alerts and school closures in some states. Dense fog reduced visibility in Delhi NCR and Chandigarh, while Srinagar witnessed sub-zero temperatures amid an unusually dry winter with limited snowfall in the plains.
