Code red! That’s the last thing you want to hear. It means breach of quarantine, contamination, infection. The general ordered all civilians into a safe location. District One is in full lockdown. The Marines tried to find and take out the infected, unfortunately it got to the people first, causing a new outbreak in the heart of London. Snipers on the roof tried to take out, but the virus spread to fast and now the general has no choice but to call for air support, firebombs, complete sterilization of district one. Even the most powerful military in the world could not not stop this horrific rage inducing virus. It’s been six month since the last infected died, leaving the entire British mainland in an abandoned post apocalyptic state while the rest of the world was saved by the sea between the island and rest of Europe. Hopefully it will save us this time. While the jets are firebombing the city we are safe in the bunker of the control room. The radio chatter, humming sounds from the fluorescent light creates and oddly calm, relaxing atmosphere while the distant explosions, sounding like muffled thunder, give a stark reminder of the horror, and chaos outside. It almost sounds like war, perhaps because it it. A war against the most deadly terrifying virus that ever existed.
