Cal Kestis faces Trilla Suduri in a Zeffo tomb as her soldiers invade. Trilla taunts him, claiming superiority, but Cal defeats a Purge Trooper. She reveals she’s taken an artifact, while Cal asserts she’ll never understand it. Trilla’s trap collapses his platform, but a flashback to Jaro Tapal’s training helps Cal use the Force to recover his lightsaber and survive. His Force connection strengthens as he fights more troopers. In the sanctum, BD-1 plays Eno Cordova’s recording, revealing the Zeffo Astrium as the key to Bogano’s Vault, tasking Cal with finding one. Trilla admits she used Cal to access the tomb and cuts contact. Heading to the Mantis, Cal is ambushed by The Huntsman, a bounty hunter, and knocked out.
