Designated Marksmen Training and Evaluation Exercise

Mar. 13, 2023 - U.S. Marines with 2nd Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, also known as the "War Dogs," engage targets using the M110 semi-automatic sniper system and the MK13 sniper rifle as part of a training and evaluation exercise with a mobile training team from the Marine Corps Warfighting Lab on Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center Twentynine Palms, California, March 13-15, 2023. The training team evaluated Marines assigned as designated marksmen on their ability to provide precision fires in support of rifle company operations using the M110 and the MK13. Film Credits Sgt.
