Premier Dominic Perrottet says the Manly Dam is about to spill in Sydney’s north, potentially affecting 800 homes and two thousand people. An evacuation order is imminent. Sydney’s northern suburbs have been inundated with heavy rain, with 122mm falling at Mosman in the six hours to 1.30pm. Seven people have now died in the emergency. Today, the bodies of two people were found in the city's west in Wentworthville. 59 evacuation orders are in place affecting 40 thousand people with another 15 evacuation warnings being issued. 20 evacuation centres are in operation across the state with 4 recovery centres in the northern rivers region.
