It was Israel's third strike despite calling a 48-hour pause of its air campaign. The Israeli military said the strike hit a truck importing weapons from Syria at the Masnaa border crossing. It said the strike was in Lebanese territory. But Lebanese police officials said two missiles struck near a vehicle carrying relief supplies near the Lebanese customs post, wounding four people and a customs officer. The officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorised to release information to the press. AP Television footage at the crossing showed an empty car with shattered windows. Also on Tuesday, aid from a Saudi family arrived in Beirut port. The Ojai family had chartered a French ship to deliver aid to the Lebanese charity the Hariri foundation. An employee of the family said medication and food were destined for the displaced fleeing south Lebanon.
